Us Weekly is reporting that Madonna’s seven year marriage to Guy Ritchie is rumored to be on the fritz because the Queen of Pop was having special late night visits from New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez at her Central Park West apartment in New York City. A source says that A-Rod has been spotted going in and out of Madonna’s place as late as midnight which had doormen talking. The baseball player was also spotted attending one of Madonna’s concerts while Madonna was spotted, for the first time ever, watching a Yankee game late last month. It may all be circumstantial but… well, it’s still up to you on what to believe.
Most people are not too keen on being accused of being potheads, much less admitting the fact. Set Rob Thomas apart from the rest of the pack though. Adele is planning to move to New York to get over her writer’s block. The Chasing Pavements singer is moving to the US to write her next album because she doesn’t have ‘a personal life’ in the UK.
She said: “I’ve got nothing to write about. Really. I haven’t got a personal life. I’ve decided to move to New York to write my album. I have to change my environment and start again.”
Thankfully, the South London soul singer says that she’s not going to rush the writing process in order to deliver a worthy second album.
She added: “Until I have something normal that your sister, auntie, cousin or mum can relate to, I won’t be writing anything.”

He doesn’t like drama in his real life, though. He says he doesn’t date nearly as much as the media says he does. Derek Jeter laughs, saying, “I’ve hung out with and date people I’ve never even met before.”
As for the rumors that he’s been seeing Carrie Underwood, he emphatically states, “Carrie Underwood’s good. She could sing. I’ve never met her! I’ve never met her!”
Angelina Jolie has been admitted to hospital in the south of France in preparation for the birth of her twins.
The Hollywood star is said to be doing well and a spokeswoman for the Lenval Hospital in Nice said it had been planned for some time that the actress would be admitted in advance to the maternity wing.
She would not say when Jolie was admitted but added Angelina will be likely to remain in hospital until the birth. She said the arrival of her babies was not imminent.
The Tomb Raider actress already has three adopted children and a natural child with Pitt. They have all been living in an exclusive wine resort in Provence, France, since the beginning of the summer.
Madonna has denied that she and hubby Guy Ritchie are getting divorced. In a strongly-worded statement the singer said she and Guy have “no plans to divorce” and insisted rumours of a relationship with US baseball star Alex Rodriguez were not true.
The move came after Guy jetted out to New York on Monday night to be with Madonna.
Her US spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg said in a statement: “Madonna’s husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family (not in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving). There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce.”
Rosenberg also denied US reports of a relationship between the singer and New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, explaining that they share the same management.
“Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary. They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There’s really not anything to comment on beyond that. It’s nothing new that people are airing tons of dirty laundry Madonna’s way lately – much of it untrue.”
Referring to the rapper who recently topped the Billboard charts, Rosenberg joked: “By the way, rumours of Madonna and Lil Wayne are quite exaggerated, as well.”
Stephen Huvane, a representative for the Kill Bill star, said “I can confirm she is engaged.”
The actress has been dating the Swiss businessman since last summer and, although he lives in London while she lives in New York, the couple have decided to take the relationship to the next level.

Madonna told Guy: ‘I’m sorry, I want a divorce’. And he agreed. It was quite painless but very sad.” Another friend spoke to the Daily Mirror saying “He’s a bit down in the dumps, and who can blame him. He’s off to the country to get a bit of peace and quiet.” Madonna has reportedly begun seeking advice from divorce attorney Fiona Shackleton while Guy is believed to be consulting with a lesser-known London law firm, Forsters.

She was joined by Natasha Bedingfield and the Veronicas, for whom she’s opening for on tour. The 21-year old Kate was recently spotlighted by Entertainment Weekly as being the best of “the new golden age of female singer-songwriters” while Billboard has hailed her as “An Artist to Watch in ‘08”. The experts are already saying that we’re going to fall in love with Kate this year and after hearing her songs, I’m not doubting them. Kate is definitely going to be big.
Drew Lachey, best known for his work as part of the boy band 98 Degrees and ‘Dancing with the Stars’ champion, sings and dances in his first performance as Patsy, King Arthur’s trusted manservant in the Broadway musical ‘Monty Python’s Smapalot’ at the Shubert Theatre in New York City on Tuesday. King Arthur’s role was assumed by Emmy nominee Stephen Collins of ‘Seventh Heaven’ fame. To celebrate his successful debut, Drew, Stephen and the rest of the cast went to Justin Timberlake’s restaurant Southern Hospitality.
